The Job

• Monitor the financial performance of the company, carry out analysis of different profitability aspects and make necessary recommendations to the management.
• Participate in the formulation of the company’s strategy and make necessary recommendations as and when required.
• Assure compliance with financial regulatory reporting and requirements including IRCSL, CBSL, IRD and any other relevant regulatory body.
• Ensure the preparation and monitor the submission of income tax and other returns of the IRD and other tax authorities.
• Managing the investment portfolio as per the investment policy in consultation with the investments committee.
• Planning and monitoring the annual budget of the company, communication and appraise management.
• Designing, implementing and monitoring financial processes with the automation and making necessary revisions in a timely manner.
• Ensure smooth financial operational (financial services: payments and receipts) function which in turn supports business operations.

The Person

• Full or part qualification from CA Sri Lanka/ACCA/CIMA UK.
• Experience in a life assurance company will be an added advantage.
• Age below 40 years.
